A romantic comedy inspired by Lori Gottlieb’s provocative exploration of modern relationships, MARRY HIM follows a successful single woman who begins to question whether her pursuit of an idealized “Mr. Right” has blinded her to the possibility of lasting love with someone imperfect but genuinely right for her.

The project was based on Gottlieb’s New York Times bestselling nonfiction book Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough, which was named a New York Times Editors’ Choice.

Daniel Shafer, Tobey Maguire and Mark Ross developed the adaptation for Warner Bros. with Emmy Award-winning writer Joey Soloway (TRANSPARENT, SIX FEET UNDER) and producer Polly Johnsen (WRATH OF THE TITANS).
